How you would work out the insurance issue?

Everyone who has signed up for the track event are required to provide insurance info. Your friend's insurance probably will not cover you as the main driver (some 300 mi from the owner). Check into that before you spend money getting a spot.

Good question! Krista will be at the track though.

Thats why she is currently on the phone with them.

EDIT: She called and the car and Donny would be covered fully through her coverage BUT if there was claim for a total loss of car, she would then be dropped from the insurance company after the claimed was filed. She is calling back later to talk to her actual agent to just double check on what another agent said.
