Hondas seem to be famous for this... I warped the front rotors on my '97 EX 4 times in the 4 years I had it. Haven't really had a problem in my '91 yet.

yo g, u need to replace the rotors cause there warped, BUT thats not all. why did ur rotors warp????? More then likely cause u have ceased calipers and therefore creating excesive heat which in turn warped ur rotors. So before u go out and spend ur dollars on rotors make sure u get the calipers serviced as well. Hope this solves ur problem.

That guy was right about the caliper essentially not completely letting go of the rotor and causing excessive heat and warping your rotor. When you replace your rotors check to see if the little dowels (the metal tubes with the accordion rubber boots) that the bolts run through to bolt to your knuckle move freely. If not knock them out, sand off any rust lube, them up, and install them back in and make sure they slide freely. Also make sure the accordian boots aren't torn or missing because water will get in there and eventually cause the same thing to happen again. Most of the time when peoples rotors warp and the new ones warp again really soon after its because the slider isn't moving freely. We do this with every brake job at our shop and its a good idea to do this every time you replace your pads. Just a little preventative maintenance. Take it easy
