Can someone please tell me what exactly I need in order to install a zc tranny in a 89 crx si. Any help will be deeply appreciated.

 

if you are talking about ZC tranny with the Si engine, it won't work - tranny will bolt to engine, but ZC uses an intermediate axle shaft which won't bolt to the Si block - i suppose you could have custom axle made for the driver's side - you can put the ZC 1 thru 5 gears in the Si tranny with the Si final drive and have the best of both worlds.

 

Actually the intermediate shaft will bolt up to the Si block. The tapped holes are there. Keep in mind that the awd wagon used an intermediate shaft. As far as the items you will need. You will need the ZC int. shaft and either ZC or 90-93 teg axles. That should be about it.
