for my 95 ls, i replace the two front rotors,calipers and brake pads for 360..is this a fair price??

 

why did you have to replace the calipers?

brembo replacement rotors are $25 each, and new pads are around $55. I have no idea how much new calipers are, I have changed pads and rotors about 7 times on my car with 100k and still have the stock calipers...this should also only take a good mechanic about 1hr to do.

i am kinda of a nwebie at this, but i think my calipers caused my break pads to rub against the rotors without me pushing the brakes, so my pads got worn out and eventaully, after pads wore out, it grinded with my rotors and caused it lound noise

 

Two rotors = $60
Pads = $55
Two Reman Calipers = $120

Parts: $235

Labor: $125 (1.5-2 hrs)

This is a fair price. Find out why calipers need replacement.

mechanics need to make money... and obviously, he made some off you. it was little too costly... but oh well.

 

do ti yourself......or you can drive down to DC and ill do it for 50 bucks.....plus parts
