After resetting the ECU, what's the code for my deck?
I just installed my AEM CAI (it was a harsh process), and I want to reset the ECU so that new data is created. The only problem is, I don't have a code for my deck. I don't want to roll w/out music
. Are the codes for all Acura CD Changer's the same? If so, can someone give me the code or tell me where I can find one?

I know that my code is located in the left hand side of my glove box, not in the glove box but on the two parts that seperate it, on the left hand side. In my 97 Accord, it was in my owners manual, otherwise if you cannot find it refer to the dealer. BTW, it should be like a six digit code I believe.
RJ you sound like a jackass. You've got helpful responses sometimes, but wtf is "Gawd..." and "Why bother" and "Please..." supposed to mean?
-It was harsh because I didn't realize all the work I had to do. I thought it was a matter of taking off the stock airbox and pulling the rest of the tubing out. It was more than that. Not everyone is a pro (I'm assuming that you are) at this; I just got my car a month ago and have never really done anything similar.
-I'd bother because I've heard that this should be done everytime there is some time of modification done to the car, is this true or not?
-I installed it securely. Just becuase it was a harsh process doesn't mean the finished product came out ghetto-rigged.

Did you read the instructions before beginning this project? Took me under an hour. In the dark, while it was cold and raining.

So then when DO you reset the ecu?
Installing it in the rain almost makes sense.

the ecu doesnt need to be reset because it uses real time data instead of a set memory, from what i understand

It was more of a drizzle. But i was cold and wet. I was also very bored.

luckily I have a garage to work in (small as it is, it was workable) . Thanks for the info...saved me some trouble. On a side note, I can feel an improvement in mid-higher RPMs. I kinda lost that 5th gear pull at lower RPMs, but that's okay. Unfortunately, since I've never raced anyone or gotten a time slip, I have nothing to compare with other than feeling

that guy was a trip. Wonder if he's still around... I was everyone's favorit asshille......
Oh and i didnt reset my ECU after intake install.
gawd damnit RJ, you're an asshille... (remember that guy?)
Haha I feel ya, 3 runs to Lowe's during the install. I needed an extension for my socket wrench and a 10mm socket. Tools aren't cheap, relatively at least.
When I pulled the wrong fuse, I had to pull out the radio, get the serial number off of the back of the radio, and get the VIN number. Then you gotta drive to the dealership with registration and valid ID, give them the two numbers, and they'll give you the code.
whatr year is ur teg if its a 94-97 its on a sticker under the fuse box lid in the engine bay if its an early 98 it might b on there but i know they got rid of it on the 99's
