Default Evo vs. racing medallion ?

i just got my tax check in the mail and i'm finally gonna get my new cat back for
my 98 ls. a friend of mine has a greddy evo on his 2000 ls and he loves it, i like the way it sounds, i know another guy who has a tanabe racing medallion on his lude and says thats its better than the evo, ive searched and searched but i can't find out which one is better from a performance perspective. if anyone has any ideas i'd apreceiate if ya post em, by tha by, whatz tha difference between the racing medallion and the super racing medallion tanabe?
p.s. i havent had the car for long but so far i only have a aem short ram but after the exhaust will be suspension and brakes, i might have it ready for turbo duty by next year.

exhuast is exhuast doesnt matter which brand name is it, you can have a custom exhuast at midas and have the same size pipe, only difference is the quality of material. i have a racing medallion myself and my buddy has a evolution on his civic, it works the same. racing med just louder, way louder. save that exhuast money and invest into some camshafts and you get way more power. adding exhuast, you wont feel any difference what so ever. maybe some MIND power, thats it.

for the most part, picking an exhaust is mostly about how you want yours to sound. Performace wise, there wont be too much of a difference among them unless you have forced induction or something. If you really want to know about exhausts, sign up at http://www.team-integra.com and read the articles there. They have all the info you could want. There are even sound clips of different ones for you to listen to. Hope this helps.
