Default Cobalt Friction Rotors

Anybody using the Cobalt Friction G3000-spec premium grade rotors on their R? I'm shopping for rotors and am looking at these as a good inexpensive option.

but I'm not thinking of getting these...

how do these compare to autozone specials? just wondering what the extra $10/rotor gets you.

according to andie, you get a rotor made of higher grade steel...
i bought these bc of oscar's experience with the autozones

I heard a lot of ppl said good thing about Autozone rotor (low price and near oem perfromance). Well, may be I'm not that lucky

My stock rotor had been used for 3 set of perfromance brake pad until it die last Nov at Limerock. Then I bought the autozone....it die last month at VIR

Yes, how do the Cobalt rotors compare to the Brembo Blanks? I currently run Power slot and they have worked great with my Hawk Blue pads. Still I am looking at a cheaper alternative to this setup. Brembo blanks seem to be fine so I was thinking about getting those and cryo treating them to use with the Ferrodo DS3000. Any comments would be great.

Thanks,

AW

I got 2 sets of Cobalt rotors. The stret/Auto-x ones are holding up very well. I have a set of Ferodo DS3000 and Cobalt rotors saved up just for the expo.

I can report back after that.
