Default help crx newbie!!!

I just bought a 89 crx auto with 200,000 miles for $100. Seeing the price, you have to assume it needs some work. This is what needs to be done that i know so far.

lower ball joint driver side.
blown head gasket.
small rear window passenger side.
total rusty wheel wells both side
rust hole in floor board. drivers side.

the ball joint looked easy to replace. But i have no experience with head gaskets, i know i can get a kit to replace it, it shouldn't be too hard.... Buying a manual would help right? Is it an intense job? easy?

I am taking a welding class so i can weld pretty good, what would be the best way to replace almost totally rusted out wheel wells? I wish i had a pic.... its kinda sad.

oh and did the auto only come in the 90hp engine? dx?

thanks

buy a haynes manual. it can guide you through the head gasket. it will take awhile since you've never done it. I hate rust so i can't tell.

Headgasket is quite simple on a SOHC motor. Takes me about 45-1hr if all goes well but we know that never happens.
