Did an h22a swap into 97 cl 2.2 runs fine when warmed up but rough cold idle...

any sugguestions? or solutions? what should i check for to troubleshoot?

 

I think it is typical of engines to run somewhat rough when they are cold, being they have very little lubrication at first. I would not worry about it too much if it seems fine, especially when warmed up. Maybe try a different gas, different oil, could be spark plugs, wires, a lot of little things. Again, it does not sound like anything serious whatsoever.

 

is it running rough or is the idle fluctuating...?
