Default Spoon N1+T1R b-pipe OR NEW designed T1R exhaust 2.5" straight thru-no bottleneck

Just can't decide. 've read tons of posts, recent & archived.

I like sleeper look on Spoon N1,but not sure if I'll be able to handle loudness, since my ITR's a daily driver.

Performance-wise,should be close I would think. If any ITR owners have had both, please let me know ur thoughts--performance/noise--Or anyone else that has bought the NEWLY designed T1R exhaust 2.5" straight thru-no bottleneck.

My set-up is Icebox+T1R 4-2-1 header+SMSP/Carsound cat
Thanks,DAVE.

I don't think you can be fast without being loud, honestly. I have the T1R... I like it, it's supposed to be quieter than the Spoon?

I should be posting pictures of the new resonators on Saturday that I'll be using for my new cat back system that I'll be debuting at the expo.

They shipped out today to me, (1) 20" long and (1) 10" long. The 2 resonators and packaging weighed just 8lbs 12oz.

straight thru-no bottleneck.
I'll say it again. The Only time you even have to Think (Not even worry about) bottlenecks is if you have a High lift/duration cam and/or 12:1 or higher compression.
On Stock to Mildly Modded cars your talking abou 1hp If That, anything else I would chaulk up to the dyno/climate/engine temps etc.

The whole "bottleneck" thing has gotten out of hand.

Hahaha... Agreed, like the whole AEM CAI waterlock thing, then everyone having to have spoon calipurs to be cool, a bottle-neck free exhaust is REQUIRED to be cool now

Good thing I'm in the cool club

But does having 2.5" with bottlenecks make much hp difference over stock diameter piping?

I've decided to go with T1R's new catback exhaust.I'll post my thoughts of the product, compared to stock once I get it installed. As well as its weight, unless someone already knows/posted it already.

Really like Spoon N1,but I'll bet it'll get really annoying pretty quick on a daily driven ITR.That's the warning Allan @ AJ-Racing gave me.

IO_Burns wacky review on the T1R

Yes because you have quite a bit more Volume that you can flow through the 63mm piping Vs the Stock which is between 2"-2.25"

Im running a JDM DC 4-1, test pipe, the new T1R b pipe and Spoon N1 and it is loud as hell but it is worth it compared to the Comptech that was on there before

The T1R and Spoon N1 are completely drivable with the silencer...barely louder than stock.
