i kno that EG seats sit higher than stock EF and i also herd that DC seats sit a lil lower than EF but besides aftermarket is that....did search and nothing came up...

i need a drivers' seat...

 

DEL SOL seats sit much lower

 

non adjustable race seat with custom mounting ie no sliders = sitting on the ground

but if you're looking for stock seats... crx seats or del sols
i have crx seats in my hatch and shorter girls complain they cant see over my dash. definately lower than stock

CRX seats are perfect in hatches. VERY low compared to the civic seats.

i'd trade my Civic Si seats any day for a good set of DX or Si CRX seats!

 

i have a crx dx driver's seat (all black) in my car its awsome sitts like a rex but it was kinda a bitch because i had to weld nut's onto the floor and had to make a custom bracket on the one side of the seat (twards the middle) but i love it deff alot lower then the stock feel

 

my del sols sit super low but you have to custom fit them. no big though it is really easy

 

crx si seats all the way,the sit super low ,there made by recaro for honda(like nobody knew that) i have them in my si and i have them in my 99 civic and i live the fell you geet the comfort of a stock seat with the looks of a race seat(ive had mine re apolstered.

 

Can we see pics of your re upholstered seats? sounds interesting..

While were on the subject, do the CRX or Del Sol seats slide further back than the hatch's? I need my seat to go back until it touches the back seat.

 

time to throw in my 2 cents. i know for a fact that 89-91 crx seats do not bolt into a 90-91 hatch without making custom brackets. big pita.

i put 91 crx si seats in my 90 hatch. the crx seats definitely slide further back than my old seats. i'm 6' and could still clutch with my old seats all the way back, i have a hard time even touching the clutch pedal with the crx seat all the way back.

if you make the brackets to the adapt the crx seats, you can simply change the bracket lengths to put the seat further back on the rails to give you more room.

yeah, i got a non adjustable racing seat in my ef, and yes, it does ride on the ground.

 

its lower than aything else but doesnt feel like your on the ground... mabey im just used to it i dunno

 

yeah ill get my digi cam workin and take pics of the 99. the ones in the crx are still stock. but i had the 99's done by 1st apoulstry, i dont know if i spelled that right im really tired.
