I just put some ITR cams in my GSR turbo, but it doesn't feel as good compared to the GSR cams. Do you guys have any suggestions for the cam gear settings? I hear retarding the exhaust and advancing the intake is good for all motor, but what is good for turbo? the opposite? advance exhaust and retard intake?

 

advancing the intake and retarding the exhaust made power when I was supercharged. I was told that with turbo cam gears don't really make power (leave them straight up) but as always, the only way to tell is to get them tuned on a dyno.

n/a i was 0 exaust + 4 intake
fi now im +3deg exaust 0 intake
every setup is differente

 

Thanks for the info......I guess I'll just have to dyno to find out......at least I have some ideas for where to start.

 

Keep the ITR intake cam....and put back the GSR exhaust cam....I hear this combination works wonders
