Default Someone broke in and stole my system and stuff

I woke up to bad news this morning, somebody broke in my car last night! I haven't really looked into it yet though. I won't until after the cops come check it out. They shattered my passenger side window and got in the car that way. From what i can tell, he then unlocked and opened the driver door and opened the hatch. He got out with my box/sub, amp, about 50+CD's and who know what else. He tried to take the head unit, but he's too dumb to know how to get it out. It still may have done enough damage to it that it won't work, I'll find out for sure later. It's a Kenwood MASK deck, and he bent the sides in. I'm worried that the gears got messed up and the face won't revolve. I dunno what to do, My car doesn't even run. I blew the motor a couple of weeks ago and I'm not ready for the swap yet. Its raining too, so thats a nice addition. I love my car, but maybe the why-49 curse is starting to kick in. Something is always messed up with my car. I'm not even driving it and it gets worse. I'm gonna go eat some cereal maybe that will make me feel better.....

I was waiting until I put my swap in to do the alarm. I'm just tired of EVERYTHING going wrong on the car. My LSVTEC should have been in a month ago, not to mention everything else thats gone wrong. I'm broke now too, from spending all my money on the lsvtec, so i don't know what i'm gonna do. I'm more depressed about it than pissed off. I'd be more mad if i could actually drive the car. I live in a nice aparment complex anyway, just so **** like this wouldn't happen. Alot of times i don't even lock my car. But this is now the 2nd time this year that someone broke in or tried to. The first time it happened i ran the guy off before he could do anything. I have half a mind to just fix the engine and window and strip the rest of the car. I'm not superstitious or anything, I've always joked about the y-49 curse, but now I'm starting to think it may be real. I've always has shitty luck with my car, I just loved it too much to admit it.

i'm sure you know that no matter where you live, whether it be a good neighborhood or the ghetto there are thieves lurking around unfortunately we can't do anything to stop them from stealing, but just make it harder for them to do it. my first car was broken into in front of my house and the day after it got broken into i got a clifford alarm installed. ever since then no one broke into my car (call me lucky) and then my car got written off a year later then when i got my second EF i already had plans for it so the first thing i got was a compustar with a pager. i got a nice stereo in there, expensive door speakers, an amp and an infiniti perfect 10 sub and no one even tries to **** with my car cuz once it goes off or the warn away comes on i come running out with a BAT! and since my interior is stripped you can see everything......especially that bright blue LED

i say if you have plans for your car first thing you should do is protect it from thieves. doesn't mean it will never happen but at least you've made it difficult for them and hope that they just leave your precious alone.

I think whoever did it KNEW there was a system in it. Everything is hidden, so there are no obvious signs that I had a system.
Anyone know where i can get a window?? lol

I dont think its just you who is suffering from bad luck because of your car. Three weeks after I finished my B16 swap/mpfi conversion/auto to manual conversion/ a Suburban totaled my car...she hit me going like 5-10 mph too.

Ouch!! I guess for me its bad enough that it just sits there awaiting a new engine, but on top of that all this **** happens. Even parked my car costs me money.
Anyone know if its possible to fit an 8" sub in the stock rear speaker location? I gotta have some bass.

I know this guy is unbelievable....he's in ricer denial. Oh yeah I have one twelve in my hatch in a light box-there is no way you can call a nice stereo ricey. But integra tailights and painted interior can. Anyways that sucks you lost all your ****.

Sorry to hear that.....I got hit twice in two days so dont feel bad.....The first day they broke into my car and broke my steering column and my ignition switch....before I came outside and scared them off at like 4:30 in the morn.....The the next day while i was at work.....since they knew or other people saw that I had no flashing red light in my car and that my ignition was busted that they could just brake in again with ease and steal my old skool jvc radio. Pissed me off. But I got over it. Just looking towards the future...Those people will get whats coming to them one way or another.....
