What oil do u use?
What oil do u use? For the F22x, h22a's, ect....
Cuz I'm a freak, I prefer to use 5w30 mobil 1 full synthetic which is expensive... but on the dyno you get a couple extra ponies over the standard 10w30
f22b1, 164k miles, i use valvoline maxlife 5w30.
I initially was using 10w30 but switched to 5w30, got a lil better gas mileage and figured its ok since I'm in sunny CA which is warm most of the year.

royal purple 5w30...cause everything thing that will restore engine life is needed. I have 197,000 miles on mine and I have to keep the engine running for another 4-5 months until it comes time for the swap.

I use Mobil 1 synthetic 10w-30. Always worked great, so I'll stick with it

Hell yeah Royal Purple is the ****! If you can get a good deal on it , usually its like 7-9/quart . If ya search good enough youll find it for like 4.75/quart. Thats what Ive been payin here. They say you actually gain hp from this oil, its in their brochure. Dyno tested. The shop I get it from uses it in their drag car. I HIGHLY recommend this oil!! Plus it really ***** with ppl when they see ya putting purple oil in your ride.
I was reading were the royal purple isn't good for everyday driving cause breaks down to fast but is great for the track. I'll try to find the article.
I use whatever I can scrounge up around the shop. A half quart here, a half quart there. I don't worry too much about mixing different brands or weights. I just use a new filter and change it every 3-4k.
