Default Anyone try stronger window/sunroof motors? Also, stronger AC unit?

I hate the speed that my 5th gen window and sunroof moves at. Any chance I could get stronger motors moving them? One off a newer honda possibly? or aftermarket?

I lube the tracks from time to time when they get slower, but they still move rather slow in general.

also.... i like how the driver side window has a switch that moves it all the way down w/ one click. any chance I can have that installed on the passenger side (i have a coupe so just 2 front windows)? Also, any way to wire a button so the sun roof will slide all the way closed/open w/ a flick of the switch?

lastly..... the AC is rather weak in my accord compared to 6th gens, even after refilling the freon in it. Anyone look for an AC upgrade? or possibly a stronger air blower?

The tracks seem to get a little warped over time.. i think that's why they tend to move slow with age. Every time I wash the car.. I unload a ton of silicone lubricant down each track of each window... it really works good for me. The windows move quickly after... you have to spray and open and close the window several times in order to really make the lube work.

As far as the switch... it can definitely be done... but I've never done it so I can't give you any tips.

As far as your a/c goes.. I have a 5th gen also (1997) and my A/C STILL blows cold as **** to this day and I've never had the A/C serviced or re-filled... AND I live in FL and use it every day... sounds like you may need to get it checked again. I suggest going to the Honda dealership for that work. Good luck.

AC service at honda is expensive. I think i could get a compressor off a newer car for the same price and install it myself... besides if the worst case scenario is that my AC sys is worn and old, then I would need to replace it anyways, might as well upgrade.

for the windows, they are still rather slow to me. I try to lube them as best I can, but they always go slow after a while. Quite annoying, would prefer to have stronger motors and lube them less frequently.
