Are there any difference from the light angle or something? I want to buy an used driver side head light for my ITR, but I like to know if there are any differences in light angle.
Thanks
Thanks
Probably the only difference is the electrical level adjustment. Just make sure it's a LHD car like yours...because usually the passenger side light points higher at the outside...
The USDM left headlight assembly: 33151-ST7-A03
Euro left headlight assembly: 33151-ST7-G01

our headlights have the electrical motor to regulate angle, as opposite to the USDM version.

thats we todd style.
I think the electronic leveling would actually be a USEFUL feature to have though
at whoever decided that they shouldn't be used in 98+ USDM tegs.
so what part is the rectangular leveler in this pic?
can we put these into USDM cars with no trouble? Or is there more involved?

it appears that there is switch installation and wiring that would have to be done.. i wonder if this all requires a new/different harness or can go into existing pieces..

It would be rad to get HID Projectors installed then utilize the electrical adjustment

-who loves it when a new 3 series turns it's lights on.. :buzz up: :buzz down:
Skafia: That's exactly what I was thinking..
Will: BiXenon retrofit may just be in the works on my car very very soon, with everything... going to take some work, but
if I can get the damned lights for a decent price I'll do it.

I think I saw somewhere that you are suppose to have the self leveling system on the car to have HID's

Yeah, for HID systems to legally work, they need auto-levelers.
Bi-Xenon is going to be a bitch!
. The wiring will be easy to difficult depending on which route is taken. Not sure if I'm going to do it yet, but it would allow HID "high" beams with halogen flash-to-pass. I might set it up based on the contacts in the console stalk, but I need to look into that (push forward to activate solenoid and pull back for FTP halogens) or just put in a switch/relay.
