Why not do the whole conversion yourself?Shops may have a little problem with that conversion and charge you more, you could just use the ins money and do it yourself and buy yourself something else for your rex with the money you save. The front clip comes complete, its fairly simple to do yourself too. All you gotta do is put on the fenders and the hood, use those to align everything. The hardest part is taking out your old radiator suport and then gettin the new one rewelded. I would just take it to a body shop and get that part done by them, so they can align it perfectly. Then once that is done everything will bolt up pretty much like stock, itll be like taking out your old hood, fenders and bumper and just puttin them back on, except SiR stuff. The main difference in the SiR front end is the rad support, but with that done and the fenders on, the front bumper and headlamps will fit like a glove.
Excellent choice with the SiR conversion.

i just walked in the door from the body shops, i went to 2 in tuscaloosa where i am living now, one said $1159.26 and the other said $1278.38, so thats great. i was expecting $600. as for the welding and installing the front clip, it might take me a day, i have a fully shaved nissan at home i built, the hard part is trying to convince my parrenst to let me do the swap, i can do the work, from installing to shooting the clear, i dont mind rolling primer for a while, im a minitrucker. lol.
Thats the spirit, do it yourself, save some cash for some spoon rims or something.
body work is very expensive and shops know this so they will charge you an arm and a leg for a very simple job. Even if you know everything about body work and know it only will cost you like 100 bucks they will over charge you everychance they get. Luckily i have a friend who does body work, whenever he gives me the overcharged price i hit em with the i know this does not cost that much to do speech and he drops the price. Plus think about it body work, the majority of the time gets paid by insurance companies, so shops get to charge what they want. the bastards!

yea, so far on the truck i have done everything. custom suspension, body work, interior, just about everything, its not perfect but when i take it in to get it finished and prob a good spraying it wont be as much b/c i have already done the majority of the work, all they have to do is massage it and spray, out of there withen a week, i hope i can do the front end, as long as i had had this car and researched it i have always wanted that front end. thanks for that link

Is this place any good?? Their prices are a bit lower than what I usually see on the net. Anyone purchase stuff from them before? I'm thinking of buying the JDM B16 and JDM front end at the same time.
Thanks.
