Default Which O2 sensor is Primary?

I'm gonna do my B16 swap soon and was wondering (since the wire harness was hacked on mine) which O2 sensor on the Exhaust Manifold is the primary and which is the secondary, I'm assuming the one closest to the timing belt is Primary, is this correct? thanx.

There should only be one O2 sensor.... Unless you have OBD2.

Anyone else agree?

Do a search, there is plenty of info on it. All of these replies are wrong, though.
If the swap is OBD0 and going into a 88-91 Civic/CRX, you will be using the JDM PR3 or PW0 ecu. They look for 2 oxygen sensors. On your harness that goes to the ecu, C16 is the stock primary O2 sensor. You have to add a wire to pin C8 for the secondary O2 sensor.

And yes, you are correct about which O2 sensor is the primary one. It is the driver's side O2 sensor that is primary, and the passenger side is the secondary.

Good luck

Evo, thank you, That is all I was askin for. Obviously, the white one is primary, I knew that. but the manifold I got has the plugs cut off and I wasn't sure which one was which on the manifold. (and I did do a search smart *** RuffRhyno)
