What is the SPECIFIC difference between the 88-89 HF vs. 90-91 HF ?
I have done the search and looked on other websites and cannot find anthing solid... Just its mostly safety items... I need specifics please... (I know there is a 150lbs weight difference) Thanks for your time... If any of you did the conversion of the seatbelts from the doors to the panel then LMK... thanks
Side impact beams in the doors, reinforced seatbelts for 90-91, different suspension geometry in the rear.
there is your answer , it is what differenciates crx's from 90-91 along with other things, depending on what model and trim you ahve...rear disks , cd player all sorts

The main difference is the fact that 1990-1991 CRXs needed reinforced doors to withstand the forces that could be put on them from the door seatbelts. This added considerable weight. Other than that, the only differences are cosmetic.
