Default How to Bondo My Side moldings on my Integra

Ok well I am going to get my side moldings removed and doors repainted but I feel if I bondo the hole smy self and sand them down good it will cost the shop less to do the job. How do I bondo the holes and how much will it cost for me to do it and what equipment do I need. Any information or help on how to do this would be geatly appreciated.

u don't bondo them, u get them welded, grind down the welds, then a thin layer of bondo to smooth it out.

Just let the body shop do it. If it is a good shop they won't use bondo either. The holes will get welded, then ground down then a thin coat of metal glaze will be used and sanded smooth. Next it is primered, wet sanded, painted etc. Do it right the first time.

2nd that thought, the bondo will sink in the holes and you will have rings in your paint, unless you have experience in paint and body work, I would tell you to take it to the pros, but no better way to learn then do it yourself. If you want that show shine then take it to a good shop and don't skip on the price. Cheap cost usually = cheap work. But yea the car will look better with out the moldings.
