Default D16Z6 dizzy on a D16A6 head question

ok, I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I have a 88 CRX Si. I am getting a D16Z6 with a new rebuilt tranny for $100 from a buddy of mine. The motor doesn't have a dizzy on it. I was wondering if there is anyway to make the dizzy from my A6 fit on the Z6 head?
Thanks in advance

Yes only one or two of the bolts may line up but yea thats what you must do infact unless your wired for obd1. Hell ive never seen what this looks like but all three may infact line up. If you still have obd0 then you must use the a6 dizzy oh yea and you also need to check and see if the tranny is a cable or a hydro. If it is still a hydro tranny then you need to use your si tranny also.

The A6 dizzy will work if you are staying OBD0 (and you get it mounted and timed correctly).

I just so happen to be selling a Z6 dizzy with OBD0 pins (you won't have to repin yours yourself).

Is that the only reason why an OBD1 dizzy won't work with an OBD0 sytem???

No - The OBD1+ dizzys send a different type of signal to the ECU so you can't mix and match them to an OBD0 system. The only thing you gain from using a repinned dizzy is that it makes the conversion to OBD1 easier.
