4300K is the best.. 5000K will give off like a sky blue affect and u will lose a little bit of light over the 4300K's.. if i were you, id ask them to send me the right bulbs.. i just wouldnt be happy with blue ground lighting..

Where did you order from, and what bulbs did they send you? Do the bulbs say Phillips on them? Do they have a blue tint on them? Just wondering because I don't think Phillps actually makes any blue tinted HID bulbs. Mine have Phillips along w/ some other stuff printed on the base.

someone post the light spectrum chart. i thought 5000k is the whitest and brightest you can get. anything higher is blue, anything lower is yellow

What i heard from people are that 4300K is the best HID bulb, but then ive also been doing my research on kelvin temps and this one site had 4700K as the closest to natural sunlight. So i guess around 4300k-5200 K isnt bad... one ur 500k away and one your 400k away... but no one can tell the difference... not from the human eye at least...

Heres a pic of a chart... its not very clear tho... by the chart it seems like 5400k is pure white...

Heres another one
