Default s2000 final drive

anybody know what the mph is in each gear on a stock s2k and after a j's racing 4.44, 4.3 and 4.7 final drive

I dont know why there is a oll i didnt put it and i cant change it

do the math yourself.

5% shorter final drive = 5% slower speed

edit: oops, sorry, didn't see that you don't have the stock speeds..

NO NO NO...you cannot calculate the speeds simply by using the percentages. I am assuming that when you mean 5%slower speed you also think 5% faster speed. If this is not what you mean re-word your post, if it is then you can only say that the car has a 5%mechanical advantage, thus being faster however doesn't necessarily mean 5% faster or slower.

A final drive that is twice as short as stock will yield half the top speed in each gear. A final drive that is 20% shorter will reduce the speed that each gear redlines at by 20%. He is referring to the redline speed in each gear, not how fast the car accelerates.
