Exedy Clutch BREAK IN !

Default Exedy Clutch BREAK IN !

(Exedy Stage 3 cerametallic)

the guy at the shop was telling me drive 500 miles city drive, and dont shift over 3rpm just to be on the safe side, but does this mean while iam on the freeway i should not go over 3rpm?~? if i go 3rpm on the freeway iam at about 55 mph please post thanks

You can go over 3000 rpm while you are driving. What he meant was not to shift over 3000 rpm.

yup that sounds right. after i got my exedy in, i drove city for about 300 miles (500 is a good cushion). i never shifted above 3000... cruising on highway i got it up to 5000 so it's all good. still running good after ~2000 plus an HPDE!

you hated it? well when they put it in they said they re-serviced the flywheel and well i dont want to jinx my self it feels smooth and great right now i only drove it 50 miles lol
