ABS Go away!!!
I can not figure out why my ABS light comes up once in a while. It just pops up whenver it feels like it, I checked my brake pads and they are good. Um, I went to Les Schwab and they said my alignment is messed up, question is: Can an alignment problem cause the ABS light to come on? If so, i'm going to get an alignment done
Sometimes when I start the car, it lights up & doesnt go away.. And sometimes after i take it for a drive about 2 mins later, it will come on.. I really dont wanna spend a grip taking it to the dealer, I have my helms manual and I'd like to fix this problem myself. But dont know where to start..

Another common problem with ABS systems is leaks. External leaks that cause the fluid in the ABS modulator to become too low, and then the ABS light will come on because there is not enough fluid in the system. An internal leak in ABS systems is also common. The high pressure bleeds off due to a faulty seal, and the ABS ECU detects the fault. The fix is repair or replacement of the ABS modulator, an expensive proposition.

When my ABS light came on, it was the modulator. Mine had an obvious leak though. The dealer replaced mine at 50% off coz I had low miles (but out of warranty) on my car at the time and it was still between $500-600. My ABS light was constantly on though, not on and off like yours.
mine is always on...cuz i took the fuse out, because it was making a weird noise every so often and it got really annoying
The problem is the modulator..it has a leak which allows pressure to escape and u'r ABS fluid as well. This happened to mine but luckily my mechanic had an extra one off another Honda and it fit perfectly in my teg. FYI...most honda ABS units will work in our acuras. Just make sure the lines and holes match up.
the noise you all are talking about... is it when you start the car? cause i think when i start the car the "noise" happens, but i always thought it was the atenna trying to go up (mine is broken). btw i have a 97 gsr
If it is the modulator and most likely it will be,only way to fix it is to get another one. U can prob find one used. Taking it out and putting it in is really easy, just make sure u have a couple of rags or towels u dont' need so u can use it to catch whatever fluid is still left in the lines when u dissassemble it. Otherwise its gonna drip all over the place.
