got my new axxis pads and brembo rotors, no grease?
I heard you gotta smear some grease on something or another when installing pads and rotors. No grease came with my package. I have some white lithium grease, will that work? Also where EXACTLY is the grease to be applied.
Does anyone else have a axxis + brembo blank set up? how do they like it.

I ordered OEM brake pads that came w/ a pack of black grease. I think it was molygrease...I'll have to check on that. Anyone else know?
Anyway, the grease is applied btn the outer pad and the pad shim and also on the back of the inside pad. HTH

If you speak of the Axxis Ultimates and the Brembo blanks, I love the combo! I have it on my car and it works great for street. Only place I can think that you want grease is the back of the pads.
You want to go and buy anti-squeal from your local autoparts store to put on the back of the brake pads. Don't use lithium grease, it will wear off almost immediately and your breaks will begin to squeal.

you want to apply some to all parts of the brake pad that rubs against calipers (not the contact stop)
