AC autotechnic Cold intake questions 98 DX motor

I just installed the cold intake and a strand of rubber and two metal pieces came with the intake. Where do they go

You need to be a bit more specific. They could be hose clamps or connectors of some sorts.

Could you possibly take a picture?

they are not hose clamps. they are for support i quess

Sometimes intakes bolt to the strut tower (and occasionally motor mounts).
