My AVCR/VAFC carbon fiber mount
Well I worked on this project over the winter and it's almost completely done. All I have left to do is my turbo timer install on the driver's side vent. Here's some pics I'm welcome to opinions.

but yours looks killer
My friend wrecked his 99 si and his fiber images hood cracked. So he gave me the hood for free. I took the hood to my dads shop and cut it up into pieces. Then did some measuring and fitting out of plastic then when i got the right sizes i did the same thing except on the carbon fiber
Do you happen to have some pics of the rear side mounting? Im figuring out to do something like that but havent got a clear idea how to mount the apexi on the plate...........

thanks for the comments guys. As for the rear mounting i didn't take any pics of it. Basically i mounted the apexi bracket on the vent, then had to dremel out a part of the vent inside the dash. I don't ever use the center vents anyways. No a/c hehe
oh hell no....lol. Laying c/f is not fun. I just "recycled" the hood...lol
Anyways.....nice work still, it looks cool
no i mean how did you get the carbon to mount to the sides, so it doesnt get pushed in everytime you push a button on your deck. how did you secure it im asking
