The question: Are all honda ek 96-98 headlights the same?
The story: I have some very ugly projectors on my 98 hatch. But as fortune would have it I found sombody who wants to give me $100 and his stock headlights. I'm not sure if his car is a 2dr or a 4dr, but I know it is a '97. Also, what do you guys think would be the best way to swap'em? would I save myself time by taking the bumper off?

all 96-98 headlights are the same.

yes, you need to remove your front bumper, which is a 10-minute ordeal.

 

i dont know how ur year models work, but i do know that the type r corner lights i got for my 94 ex wouldnt fit at all bc they were for a hb. and when i got my projectors, i had to take off the bumper bc the bottom of the wasnt straigt, it curved downwards. its not hard to take off the bumper, it took me like 5 mins. just make sure they fit b4 u make the deal final.

 

the head light are the same. it will save you time take of the bumper. the the 92-95 honda civic are the ones that have a diferent corner light for the 4d and 2d.

No, they are not all the same, but for your purposes it will work , only reason I say no is because ctr headlamps are different with a citylight, but will sitll bolt up.

I'm to be getting rid of these projectors. I think I'll just take his headlights apart and bake/paint them because they are already foggy.

 

yup yup remove bumper.black housing looks better than prjectors anyway!
