I looking at getting some Kumho Escta Supra 712s, 205/45/16s for the new wheels i'm getting.
Not cheap! I didn't expect new tires in this size to cost that much more, Tirerack has a pretty good deal $352 shipped for a set of 4 to where I live.
here's a neat little app that'll show you what tire sizes you can use if you get larger wheels to keep your ratio basically the same:

Definitely 205/45/16 will retain the stock diameter.
Here are some pics.

215-45-16, the 205-45-16 is = to stock diameter, but that's too small when you consider most of us are putting down more power. Go for the 215-45-16, a heck-uva lot wider and you can get the falken azenis for a decent price.
I've run the 205 and 215, the 215 will absolutely protect the rim better as well. Looks fabo too!

Yoko are jokes, get the azenis. Trust me, the falken is what drove my STS teg to 1st place national win.....http://www.tegsportracing.com/solora...com/pgoss.html

Check out the results for yourself. Car was only at 2 prosolo events and pulled a 1st & 2nd. The 2nd event was part of the national tour. Wanted to participate more in 2002 series, however car was hit by a drunk driver and in the shop for 2 mths.
All I was trying to say to the original person posting, is the azenis is a winning choice, as is the 215-45-16 size. That's it.

I have a 94 RS with stock suspension (except ITR rear swaybar) and 16 inch rota slipstreams with +40mm offset. I am currently running the 205/45/16 kumho 712's and was wondering if the 215/45 azenis would fit under my car with the +40mm offset? What about if I lower the car 1.5 inches?
Thanks
Aaron
My 215/45/16 clear the fenders easy and I am lowered like 2.5 and 2, this is with my volk TE37 16x7's I forget the offset thou, sorry. It might be the same.
