no, they are not. what in particular are you needing to know about? what motor w/ which mounts... into which chassis?

Very different actually. The tranny mount on the previous generation is pretty much in the front of the car in the center. It's a pain to get to.

The 3rd Gen Integras have a side mount and a small front mount that hangs "under" the car and attaches to the frame on the passenger side.

I know my description wasn't very good.....but just wanted to say that yes, they are quite different.

yes, you're right about location, but in almost all situations that doesn't matter at all.
For example:

b18c into eg: the stock eg front tranny mount will not work, its the wrong size. The bolts will line up with the car, but not with the b18c tranny. In this case all you need to do is get a different mount and you're good to go (I believe its the b18c mount that you need). Also, the front motor mount is a bit different. It will bolt to the car and to the motor, but the a/c won't bolt up properly to the mount (only 2 bolts line up). I think in that case you need a del sol mount, again, not positive about that though. Either way, there will be a mount that'll work.

b18c into ef or da: the b18c hydro tranny does not have the correct front tranny mount location for the ef/da chassis. however, you can't use the b18c tranny anyway because its hydro and ef/da's are setup for cable. when you get a cable tranny for the setup you the mount will now be in the right place.

so really the severity and the importance of the differences are completely reliant on what motor and what chassis you're talking about. Cause in many cases (like the ef/da situation above) the difference at that VERY different mount turns out to be something you don't even need to think about.

In the case of putting a b18c or even a b18b into a DA all you have to do is get a cable tranny and then use all the mounts off of your stock b18a. They will bolt to the motor/tranny and to the chassis.
