can i put 195/40/16 tires on 205/40/16 wheels for fender clearence

can i put 195/40/16 tires on 205/40/16 wheels for fender clearence

my rex is slammed and im gettin a set of 16s soon, i have 15s now w. 195 tires and they dont rub, but i know 205's will , so would they roll off or get messed up if i put 195/40/16s on those wheels?

I doubt they will, but it really depends on the specs of the wheel. Are they 16x7 or what?

I've never seen a set of 195-40-16's do they make them?? Checked tirerack.com and no listings for that size would have check tires.com but site looks like its down
