What brand is our OEM acura decks?

Alpine or pioneer?

I think honda is one and acura is the other.

I want to get a aftermarket change but I know only a certain brand will work in ours. I cant remeber

Any help would be great. Thanks

 

depends on the year, from what i know 97 acuras have alpine stuff

I pretty sure when I pulled mine out it said Pioneer on it. This is for a 94 GSR.

 

Mine ('95) is Pioneer.

mine's a mitushita (sp?) the parent company of panasonic/technics from 2001 integra same with my friends 00 accord but his is made in the US.

I have put in 3 aftermarket decks, jensen, jvc, kenwood. They all work. just gotta ge the right socket adapter.

 

What brand are our OEM Acura decks?

 

My OEM 1994 casette deck is definitely a Pioneer.

However, it is designed to work with select Alpine 6-disc CD changers.
