Default 01 ITR Intake Cam in B16

Can I just drop in this cam and expect gains from the more agressive profile?

You'll see some more power with it, but you should add cam gears and an FPR and jump on the dyno to see real gains.

ctr cams alone make very little power gains and if you put in only one you gain half of very little.

NO....you will notice a difference right out of the box, buy to accurately direct the power to where it needs to be you will need a set of cam gears and a little dyno time.

These cams are freat for daily drinving, and make the b16's lackluster power band seem more aggressive.... for honda oem camz

And yes..two cams would be nice, but 250 bucks VS the power you will gain from adding the exhaust cam makes no sense to me, all vtec honda cams are simmular.

My reason for this Is I only want to put OEM honda parts on my car. Why do I need cam gears? PLS explain.

The CTR intake cam is the one you want. As stated above, it will provide some extra "pull" for your B16, but to realize the full potential, cam gears and a tuning session are needed.

You can`t advance/retard the cams w/out adjustable gears. Stock gears are not adjustable.

Can you use CTR\ITR cam gears?

Cam gears allow you to tune the motor. This will allow your tuner to find the best power results. In some cases, you can build more midrange, in other cases, more top end, depending on the tuner and the other mods.

Actually, I agree with this guy.
Out of the box I noticed a small drop in power right through the rev range with my CTR's, I'm expecting big things once they're tuned though

I believe you want CTR Intake and ITR Exhaust cams.
00-01 itr cams are the same as any ctr cams.....anything older than 00 spec itr cams then you might want to get a ctr intake cam because the intake side is diff...exhaust cams for itr and ctr are all the same
