99-00 Si Front Sway on 96-00 Hatch
I did a search on this topic, and it looks like it's been discussed many times, but I can't seem to find a definitive parts list. I already have the sway bar, sway bar brackets/endlinks, forks, and LCA's. Do I re-use the same bolts as on the stock setup or do I need to buy new bolts as well? Any help would be appreciated.
mounts different. More cost effective to go with a suspension techniques kit
iv done the research

The only bolt that is different is the long bolt that goes on the bottom of the fork. You will need the si fork and fork bolt for that. Other than that, you need the four 12mm(I think) bolts that mount the D-brackets to the subframe.

You are wrong. I have one on my car and it mounted right up.

Are you guys talking about part #15 in the diagram below? If so, anyone have the part number?
Also, what is the part number for the bolts to mount the d-brackets on the subframe?

You need the fork to mount to the Si LCA.
That picture isn't acurate as it doesn't display the correct forks or LCA.
I'm not quite sure how long the bolt for the fork is. But I needed to get a couple extra, so I called Honda. The length that they gave me was way to short. So, I ended up going to NAPA to find the correct size. And as far as I know, everything is working okay.

Your best option IMO (which i also have on my EK ) is going with the SI 99-00 front sway bar which is 26mm
you will need the SI forks(with bolts ) , front LCA and the sway bar brackets and bolts and also endlinks ...
yes you need to get the SI bolts....grr...i bought a CTR sway setup, and it came with bar, LCA's, brackets, and sway bar bolts....i thought that was all i needed to install, so i went to try to install and found out i needed to get the SI/CTR shock forks....so i went to go get those, and again i tried to install, but this time i needed to get the SI shock fork bolts...so now i got those, and i will attempt to do the install this weekend...does anyone have any tips on doing the install?
yup you need bolt #16 in that pic. don't expect it on the first try. it took honda 3 orders of hte same part number to get mine
the si bolt is on the right the stock one on the left

You will need part #18, here is a clearer pic
90183-SH3-000 BOLT, FLANGE (12X109) $6.14
You need to use SI forks becuase the LCA is wider at that spot.
This is, IMO, the best setup for front Swaybars in EK civics. Alternatively, you can get the 22 mm setup from any non hatchback civic. All you will need is the swaybar, the LCA's and endlinks brackets etc.
I would stay away from ST swaybars. I know of a few people that after getting their rear subframes torn or completely ripped off of their cars using ST swaybars, ST was of no help at all.
I suggest using San Leandro Honda for diagrams, they are much clearer as you can see and they also give ACTUAL Honda part numbers!!!
