Default Chirping noise..gauge cluster

I'm hearing this chirping noise coming from my cluster..sounds like a bird stuck inside the cluster.. I hear it obviously when the car is moving... but when I push the plastic cover ... the noise stops... any clue how to properly fix or get rid of this noise?

cheers

could be the metal clips that the screws bolt into (back of the cluster housing) are loose.

Could be it .. cuz when i push the clear plastic cover of the guage forward and hold it the chirping noise disappears.. the 2 screws... are those the ones that you have to pop the 2 plastic covers to see?

I had the same problem. Check to see if your speedometer cable is plugged in good. If it isn't, then follow the plug to the engine bay and it'll lead to the transmission. Unplug it there and take out the inner part of the cable. Once it's all out, it'll look like a thin spring. I greased it up and that worked. Try that. If that doesn't work, then replace the inner part of the cable with a new one. Good luck.
