someone broke into my car, try to hot wire the car, now the car wont start. also the door lock on passenger side wont work now with a key. can someone give me a hand?? i dont know much about cars. its a 92 accord lx sedan. im located in ohio. thx.

 

what wires are cut? did they pop your ignition off? basically you should get some but connectors, or some solder and put the wires back together

 

Go buy some new wires, and then replace them yourself. I think 12V, 12 guage wires should be sufficient. That's the type of wire that I use for the electric devices in my car. Wait until someone backs me up on that statement before you go start buying wire. Also, check your fuses. A blown fuse might be causing the door lock on your passenger side not to work properly.

Yeah, what he said about 12awg wire to replace anything cut. Also, for your door lock - need to take the inside panel off and apart to get a good look inside to see what is going wrong there.

 

can someone come and help me with it? im not sure what the wires do and where they go.

 

Well, all you really need is basic knowledge of electronics. Do you know anyone that can help you? Also, look in the manual to find out what does what.

Also check your fuses. Many times when multiple wires are cut at the same time it shorts the other wires out and blows fuses.

 

Go pick up some 7.5V fuses. They are little green ones. I have those in my car, and you should, too.

 

those mutherfukas man dont they know that they should get their own **** ****** thieves yo. thats why *****s cant nothin on their cars these days without someone stealin my boy got robbed today. he went to a stripbar and they caught him off gurad they took the bags that was in the car as well and took his speakers i was like goddamn. thats why i be paranoid about my **** whereever I go if its an unfamiliar area i dont park there longer that 20minutes wit my eye on the car as well.

 

yea my car was parked rite outside my apt and broken into while i was home. aint that some sh*t. ne way, i found a blue bulb on the floor that was cut, i have no clue where that goes. i asked shops around, they said 250-272start to fix the part where they cut some wires, also 60 bucks just to take door apart, then another whatever to fix the lock. those shops love to rape. im sick of putting $$$ in my car one way or another, fixing it, modding it, now no $$$ b/c osu is raising its tuition again! im so broke soon.

 

check master fuses as well.

 

yea it was a fuse. got it fix by somebody for 70 bucks, but door still not fix. thx everyone.

oh yea the wires that was cut was the lighting wire where u put the keys in during nite. basically now i need a new cover...dont know about fixin the light...dont wanna blow fuses again.

 

i live in apt.s too and my system got jacked. when u get everything working again, "prestige" makes a paging alarm that u keep in ur room, it beeps and flashes when ur alarm goes off. then thats when u go outside with a bat and have some fun
