CX into VX sidemoldings....
I was wondering how I could get CX black side moldings off to match the paint? Do most people just use a heat gun? or are they screwed in from the inside of the door? I know the VX doesn't come with moldings, and that is the look im going for. Thanks for any help.

it really looks fine without them but if thats what want do it...you need to take off the inner door panels and you'll see white plastic snap thingys...snap those off from the inside and you can pull off the moldings...

The 96 CX's did have moldings. All EK hatches had moldings. None of the 92-95 CXs or VXs came From the factory with side moldings.
some dealerships add stuff to "increase value" just cause it was on your car when ti was bought from the dealership doesnt mean it came like that from the factory.

Not true, every VX I've seen has them, and I've seen a couple of CXs with them.
neither one of my vx's had them.

No 92-95 Cx or Vx came stock with side moldings. I don't care what you and your grandma saw together...They didn't come that way from Honda.
96+ is a different story...All 6th gen Civics came with moldings.
