i just mounted some falken azenis wheels on my hx rims and i noticed that the sticker on the wheels said not to mount 14 wheels to 14x5 rims? i forgot what there reasoning was for this. do you think im okay with the tires on there. ive seen other people mount the tires on the hx before. thanks in advance

 

everybody runs them on HX wheels. I believe they're 5.5 inches wide, are they not??

 

yup 5.5inches.. I don't know where this 14x5 is coming from.. I've seen like 4 different post with 14x5 inch specsfor the HX rims

 

i dinno i just saw the 14x5 on the back of the rim, so thats what i thought it was.

I run those tires on my HX rims and I love them. No issues besides the fact that the tires wear really quick but thats to be expected.

I think you're talking about the warning that's molded into the tire and says something to the effect of "do not mount a 14-inch tire on a 14.5-inch wheel." It simply means that if you have a 14.5" wheel, don't attempt to mount a 14" tire on it - I don't know where you're getting this 14x5 stuff.

 

thats what i said man, but i used wheel for your word tire! and i used rims for the word rim, thats for the people who are not understanding. and im getting the 14x5 from the back of the hx rims or rim. and the sticker WAS on the " tire " not rim.

 

yes. this means u do NOT mount x.5 rims to x rims. understood? a tighter fit can blow your tire. see the lil picture of the guy getting blasted in the face from mounting incorrectly? i should know - i just got new tires like 2 weeks ago.
