Default Tint Ticket

I work at a tint shop and the owner got pulled over w/ a tint ticket, anybody know any cops in MD that will sign off on the ticket for some loot?

Tell the owner to obey the laws like all of us do. If anyone knew what the law was, it is him, and he didn't listen.

Whatever the law is, it's crap. Around here the cops themselves have "illegal" tint. What's the difference between a tinted car and a van with no rear windows. Just another way to harrass citizens.

if he owns the tint shop, why doesn't he just take the tint off, pay the fine, and put the tint back on? it's not like it's gonna cost him much

Why doesn't he offer you the same cash to take the tint off and put it back on. No cop is going to risk their job for a few bucks, it would be cheaper to pay the ticket or pay you.

isnt that considered a fix it ticket? which is like 10-20 bux? pay it off.. dont be cheap. Your boss might dig himself a deeper hole by paying a cop off.

just pay the ticket. it's a non-moving violation so insurance won't go up & no points are involved.

Man you just have to think of a ticket as a fee. This is the fee to be in the cool club. Pay the damn ticket so you can be in the club. And anyways what kind of post is this, it is a lame excuse for technical help.

if you are willing to pay some loot, just pay the ticket. If your laws are the same as here in Cali than you just pay it... thats it, you are done. Its EITHER Fix-It or pay a set fine. Not both, I know a fix-it has a small charge of $10-$20. I got a front window tint ticket before, I just paid it instead of dealing with taking off the tint.

I would have done the same thing, but it was on my old car and it was a week before I was about to sell it and I didn't have time to deal with removing the tint and getting it signed off. So I just paid the ticket, sucks I had the front tint on for 3+ years and 1 week before I sell the car I get tagged for it.

yeah, if you just pay the fine you don't have to fix it. If you want to save money, you "fix-it". But I think the 2nd, 3rd, and etc, times you get pulled over the fine is worse? But I'm sure each incident is in the police's computer record of you, so the bitching you receive from the officer(s) each time you get pulled over for the same thing probably gets worse, haha...

I think he paid the same about each time, just getting pulled over by the same cop wasn't to thrilling for the cop though, almost made him take them off on the spot lol. to dark tints...stick to the legal limits

Cool Club, LOL. I dunno if I wanna join that one. Actually I'd be vice president by now. I've paid lots of fees.

You guys complain about cops in your area. Me and my buddie were in his 89 RX-7 turbo 2 that came stock with tinted windows.
Well we get pulled over and the cop looks and the window and says the its to dark and that he's going to give us a ticket. Well we try to explain that it is a stock tint and thats the way it came.
He wasn't listening to anything of it, he gave us the ticket and took off. He got pulled over agian by the same cop but he once agian explained that it came that way.
Well the second time I guess the cop saw that he got out of the record. So he just gave him a long lecture and made him late for work.
Now thats a cop thats a jerk.

I got pulled over last Saturday night for the same reason. I even had a receipt showing the % of tint the front windows. I was in the legal limit but he called me a liar. The cop was some young guy, rude as hell with me, what a dingus. He let me off with a lecture. If your in the Bellaire area of Houston, watch it.
