i heard wd40 isnt good to apply. Rather lithium grease, it goes for 1.99 at autozone. I gotta pick some of that up soon

Yup... cuz it dries! Me and my roommate, Pdcdragon, put some lithium grease on his sun roof and it opens really well... it used to rattle before. (But his window never had a problem with opening too slowly.) At any rate... it doesn't hurt your car!

I press the button and the sunroof barellllllly open and closes....sometimes I have to help it. Anyone ever replace this?

is made in the US. If you don't believe it, look at the driver's door jamb. Printed there is MADE IN USA. You should get your facts straight before spouting off.As for the WD40, it melts the grease off the track and is not recommended. White lithium grease is the ticket.

lube up the moving parts and then clean the sealing area. when it gets dirty and sticky the cold weather can make it hard for the roof to open. cleaning the rubber seal around the edge helped mine a lot.
