Do you have your MPH speeds backwards?

13.8....isnt that slow for an h22? There is a guy locally who has a gutted EG with an h22 and hes hittin 12.6's (i think hes on slicks tho).

When you run slicks versus street tires your mph is lower, however your E.T. should be faster. Hell i ran 13.2 @101 on crappy slicks and a 14.1 @ 97 on street tires. These obviously weren't the same cars, however they were pretty much the same engine. Not the best comparison but you get the idea.

now looking at it, it does look a a little wierd but I guess every times I dropped my 60' times I also ended up with a slower MPH but a better ET. I am only running I/E so the times might seem slow but hey 13's with basically a stock motor I cant complain.

Are you gutted? I see you have a DX, do you have AC and PS? Just wondering what I could expect to run w/ a full interior no AC no PS H22 CX Thanks

Ive seen Stock H22's in eh2s run low 13's. Still, a 13.8 is nothing to laugh at. Good job

Those are good numbers--period. They are real world numbers. Sure there are all the people you hear about that run 'x low time' with 'y setup', but things never seem to work that way outside the internet.

Anytime you are in the 13's all motor and full interior, you are pimp.

look at his 0-60 times (starts off a little slow but pulls like a son of a biotch at the end. Balance the two and . Its HARD to launch in an h22....

Nice runs!

This would be the second 13.8 on slicks that Ive seen from an H22A hatch on this Mb in the past few days. I also had one running 13.7 against me at the strip - gutted hatch with H22A w/LSD.

Again I'll ask the question:

Are high 13's on slicks the normal times for these H22A hatches?

Yes I've seen a few people talking about low 13's or high 12's, but what are the NORMAL times for the H22A into the 1992-1995 Civic?

Well a 2.2 60 footer doesn't indicate any sort of launching problem if that's street tires...

Nice question Tom, but look at it this way. Fast did a 13.8 with only I/E and slicks full interior. Obviously he is a good driver and there is much more potential in the car.. Again I dont know his setup, but a few added things would definately make a difference.

But the car you raced was gutted, had LSD, and slicks and still only did a 13.7/13.8.. So I think it would be fair to say that normal times can and have ranged from low 13's to low 14's depending on setup and driver..

BTW, this H22 does not have LSD, and had a 1/2 tank of gas!! I could get better times but fear of breaking an axle kept me from launching any higher. I do think low 13's possible with weight reduction and maybe some bolt ons like a header and such.

Nice times.

Maybe a little off topic but what are the average times for hatch with full interrior and b18c5? I want something more to compare it to.
