Sol got dropped this weekend. (with a little tech.)
Now for the tech. There is no need for a spring compressor when doing suspension swap. All you need is one person holding the allen key and one person standing on the spring while loosening the nut. The spring won't even shoot off if the person weights enough. The farthest one of my springs went was 1 foot. Save your money.
For the 15.00 bucks it cost to rent one at a Auto Store I think I'll stay clear of severally injuring myself
Clean looking Del Sol though

id dont use any spring compressor..just lay it sideways, step on the stock spring and use an air gun (small 10 gallon home compressor) to get it off, itll go flying alittle but not a big deal..
funny thing is. You can only use hand tools and NO COMPRESSOR for putting coilovers on. Replacing springs with springs is not easy without the spring compressor or air compressor.
Wait. i should say impossible with-out a spring compressor.

Trust me, you won't get hurt. And you don't need a spring compressor to put springs back on. The car will compress them itself. I put on Ground-Control coilovers with Tokico Illuminas. Would have been 30 minutes a wheel if we didn't dick around.
Also, about the wheels. I'm not trying to waste money on wheels. The wheels I have right now are plenty light. And if you guys didn't know, the stock del Sol SI wheels were made by Enkei :-X But ya, I could careless about style.
