Default tanabe hyper medallion any good?

I found a guy thats selling his full catback for 275$ he said it was used about a year on a daily driven car. Can anyone shed some light on tanabe exhausts? I was thinking about going apexi n1 from sergio when I gathered some cash 465$ but damn 275$ seems like a sweet deal, no? does anyone know how this exhaust sounds? performs? compared to the n1

heres a pic that the guy sent me.

and im guessing with exhaust systems.. age doesnt matter? or am i wrong?

I found this on a site [Integra GSR 2DR Pipe: 60mm Tip: 100mm] what does 60mm = in inches?

if anyone can tell me good things about this exhaust ill be heading down to his pad to pick this thing up.

I am actually looking to buy that exhaust right now so if you don't want it I'll take it! That is a really good price but it is very different from the N1. They are completely different styles, not to mention the N1 is sooo much louder than the tanabe. The tanabe is more of a clean look where as the N1 is more like hey everyone look at me (and hear me)! lol If the piping is SS it is a super hyper medallion if the piping is not it is just the Hyper Medallion, either way for one year of use that is a good price.

i have it and its great....espeicially since its a straight through design and looks very simple. I painted the canister black and I think it looks even better.

wow back from the dead when I was looking to get an exhaust. Ended up with a greddy evo.

My guess would be yes. The tanabe piping looks very similar if not exact to my greddy piping.

There are 2 versions of that exhaust. 1st generation b pipe was not constructed from stainless steel, the new 2nd generation is. It is a good quiet exhaust that will not get you into any trouble with the decibel levels!

the exhaust is pretty loud, cause its a straight through design. its not nearly as quiet as a apexi ws

Hyper Medallion or Racing Medallion?

Cuz the Hyper Medallion is quiet. It's the Racing Medallion that is loud.

Anyways, I love my Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion. Great quality, sound, and performance.

Here's how it looks behind an Integ.

I had a DC exhaust which is similar to that in size and what not. It is quiet on the low end and up top it sounded deep and clean. At some rpm's it is almost silent

I had Greddy Evo and now the Hyper Med, Looks great, quiet, light, straight thru design, and great ground clearance. I'm very happy with this exh.

Sweet, so it is more quiet? Do you know if the axelback portion was the same for bolting up purposes.
