how to get wax off of moldings
hey guys, i forgot to take wax off of the front windshield moldings because i was waxing it at night and couldn't see that well. I waxed the car last week and this morning i looked at it and it looks like $#1T!!! There's also residue on a couple of other plastic places on my integra. it looks like it's pretty much stuck on there...
is there any way i could get this wax residue off?
help!

There's not really any way to get it off. In the future cover all the moldings with Armor All before you wax. Then if you get wax on the molding it will whip right off.
The only other thing I can think of is to use Mother's Back to Black. It may hide it better.

Peanut butter is a great way, but also any diswashing soap will strip the wax, or even a degreaser. Peanut butter is the best way to go about it, its easier to control so you don't have to worry about stripping the wax on your paint.

i usually use a one of those spray waxes after wax my car..when it gets on the moldings. i.e. windshield trim, window trim..i use the spray wax and a soft toothbrush or rag..spray it lightly were the wax is on the molding and wipe oe lightly brush with toothbrush and then wipe clean...works for me...
