My 00 Civic SI has about 29,500 miles on it...warranty about up....are there any recalls I shoiuld get done, or any other free services I can get before my warranty is up??

 

Best way to find out is by calling HONDA the main office , their 1-800 #. They can look up that car and see everything that they recalled.

 

I thought any recalled parts have free labor on them ... or am i wrong?

 

they do, but only for a certain period of time...they expire.

 

Thats probably why they never called me back about mine...the 96-00 ignition recall thing....those bastards...its been probably 7 months....

 

I don't believe recalls ever expire. If they look up your vehicle and it hasn't had the recall service, then the manufacturer foots the bill.

 

if you havent had the tranny TSB done...get it done before it starts grinding

 

haha, warrenty is great! my si was on a 75 shot, a different bottom end, no ac, no power steering, and no seat belts in the back seat! i brought it in for tranny work and the guy laughed @ me, i told him up saying that all that has absolutley nothing to do with the tranny! he said aliright, ill fix it, my si came out w/ everything new on the tranny, clutch flywheel, even the differential. the only thing left stock is the bell housing and the final drive, every syncro, bearing, EVERYTHING replaced!! do yourself a favor and get away with some ****!!

Congratulations, you are the reason the prices on cars are so high in the first place. The estimated warranty costs are included in car pricing, so when people do fake claims it hurts everyone.

You sir are an immature pos, get a clue and treat your car better.
