i dont know if its the same but my clutch pedal makes a click sound when i press on it whether its in gear or not and as im releasing it ckicks again..checked everything and it seems fine as other members here stated its a problem that comes and goes..its not serious but more annoying hearing the click in the car when the radios not on...sounds like a spring or something of that sort making the clicking sound...."in the car not outside the car" ...outside the car u hear the throw out bearing or release bearing engage ,disengage...dont my my mechanical terms...im not a mechanic..jusst trying my best to explain/ maybe help u out....

Could be as simple as you need more oil in the tranny. I found that out this weekend. But my tranny was bad anyway.....main-bearing. New GSR tranny now.
