but every recomendation you get will be different
i say do this, write each recomendation on a piece of paper and draw one randomly from a hat!
you cant loose cause no one will recomend crap to you

You will also get the blind supporters of a certain company or product who cant see past their product line. This can lead to some poor recomendations.
To find good speakers i would suggest you take your favorite CD to an audio store and listen until you find something you like. If you dont find something you like, go to another store but dont settle for anything less than what you want.
If you're happy with the equipment you have listed then thats all that matters. you're building your stereo for yourself, not everyone on honda-tech.
enjoy

It is all dependent upon the subs and your price range though.

hey top shotta seems u know about soundomain, i think im just gonna get everything from that site, anywayst do you like the DEI's??? and also should i get MBquartz 6X9's or the KAPPA infinites for the rears?
I have the DEI's and I like them alot. The midrange is good and the tweets are smooth. I would go without the 6x9's and omit the rearfill altogether and see how you like it. Sounddomain also price matches
Omit = Leave out
I would disconnect your stock 6x9's so long as the components in front are amped. If you don't like the sound then reconnect the 6x9's and fade towards the front. Then if you must upgrade to the MB Quarts or Infinitys

One amp or two?
If one then I would go with the Hifonics Z8000 at mmxpress.com for $250. It's 5 channel, so 50Wx4 + 200Wx1 @ 4 ohms.
If you want two amps then check out ikesound.com
JBL P180.2 90Wx2 @ 4 ohms and the JBL 600.1 600wx1 @ 2 ohms.
$149 and $195

you can use one 5 channel amp to power everything.
Or
you can use one 2 channel amp for your components and 1 mono amp for your sub, while running your 6x9's off of the deck

Depends on your budget and space constraints.
It's cheaper and easier to go with the single amp, but you get less power. There is always a trade off.

you need an amp for the components and the sub. your headunit won't power them sufficiently. You can use the 1 5 channel or the individual amps, the 2 channel and the 1 channel. With the 5 channel you can power your sub (200watts) and 40x4 watts to the rest of your speakers, or use the 2 seperate amps for 80x2to the components and 600x1 for the sub.
It's up to you.

i believe that you should install each piece one step at a time. each time you install a new component, you will hear a HUGE difference. i would start with the headunit- the 7400 is a fine piece of work.. i've been running a 7300 for quite some time and i love the beast. not the best thing out there, but very nice for its price.
after the headunit, replace the front speakers then the back speakers. who knows, you might like the improvement of sound so much you wouldn't want a sub anymore.
by doing this, you get acquainted with your setup and train your ears. then you can determine what the next step is for your system.
like others sed, everybody will have a different opinion and desire, so it's entirely up to you. but instead of blowing tons of money at first, build little by little to satisfy your personal need. GOOD LUCK and HAVE FUN!!!
