i foudn this very cheap 1998 civic LX 4-door. is it worth putting monry into?

 

depends on your goals....

 

indeed what are your plans? as far as weight its not that bad, actaully its lighter then 2dr EX coupe.

 

4drs feel more stable to me

 

Ahhhhhhhh why did you even ask!!!!!!!!!!! 4-door civics are the ****!!!!.... I love mine 96-98 are the best 4doors.... they look so good when done right...

 

i love my sedan, its an eg, in the WORST honda color EVER!!!! other than that its amazing!! only bad thing is, all your friends are gonna try to bum rides "you have plenty of room", heard that way to many times...

 

they can't bum rides when you remove the back seat.......don't ask how i know this

 

yes yes, very true, but then your friends end up like i did 2 years ago, before i could drive. i had to ride in the back of a stripped hatch, sitting on a big tool box for 3 hours. it sucked.....

but hell yes, get the ferio!!

 

well im a student(16) and i work. i prefer a coupe cuz its 2 doors. i dont like the 4 door but its very cheap. my dad wants me to get it( hes paying for a used car). i dont know if i want it cuz im just thinkin how it will look, it just doesnt look right. any pics of civic sedans?

 

im 17.... and believe me, the chicks like the 4 door more *wink* if its cheap go for it, do somwthing different, everyone has coupes or hatchs

Go for it...I didn't really care for the four doors but I bought my 96 4dr for pretty cheap and now I don't think Id buy anything but a sedan. They look a lot cleaner when lowered and they feel a little more stable to me. Just my take on it.

 

hell ya Civic Ferios, Not EVEN Played out at all, u can do so much to them, swap the engine tho, the LX's are heavy and not the best engines to mod a d16y7 (I got the same engine) They can be ok Turbo, but if u want some real power, go with a H22A or even a B18C or C5 depending on the cash u have.
h22a in 4 doors give the car some nice power.

99-00 Conversion is a must.

i just picked up a 98 lx this past winter..they suck stay away , no, i think they have just as much potential as any other honda, plus theyr'e not played out. yet.

dam yall are very convincing, lol. well i foudn thsi clean 1998 civic lx sedan with 70k miles on it for 7k. the previous owner was a banker which she took very good care of it. yea i liek the 99-00 ones. how would u convert it to it? appearence wise i only see the bumper, headlights, and tailights different.

 

i got my 92 for $1500, it had 214,000 miles, but babied to hell, i mean still original clutch!!!!!!! then i got a hold of it, and blew the motor in 7000 miles. oh well, on the faster parts!!
