most of the people who sell things as "88-91" don't understand that there were several small changes over the course of the fourth generation.
most of the parts that aren't universal can be broken down one of two ways:
(1) 88/89-91
(2) 88-89/90-91
there were a number of changes made after 88, and a number more after 89. i do not know if there are any real differences between the 90 and 91 model years. those in the know will usually offer more specific information than "88-91"...i cringe every time i see someone on ebay selling front seats or something on ebay and listing it as "88-91" when their item most certainly will not work with all those years.
